Bledar Zajmi, was born in Tirana and is currently concertmaster at the National Theatre in Prague, Czech Republic.

Through the years he has developed a strong artistic career on 3 continents, in over 30 countries worldwide, with over 15 solo and chamber music records, and a broad artistic repertoire from baroque music to contemporary.

In 1999, he is honoured with second prize and Special jury prize in the international competition "Palma d'Oro" in Finale Ligure, Italy and in 2004, and a Silver medal in the international competition "Premio Rovere d‘Oro", in San Bartolemeo al Mare, Italy.

In 2000, he won the audition for concertmaster at the Prague National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, which continues to this day at the same position.

In 2017 he completed his doctoral studies and holds Ph.D. degree at the Janacek Academy, in Brno, Czech Republic in interpretation and theory of interpretation.

His activity extends further, with concerts in Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, HongKong, Brazil, and Israel. He performed at international music events, such as "Czech Chamber Music Society - Czech Philharmonic", Festival "Pražské jaro" (Prague Spring ), "Jerusalem Concert Society, "Budapest Spring Festival" , "Dvorak Festival", "Izmir - Opera concert season" , "Dubrovnik Festival", "Pontes" Festival “ etc.

Bledar Zajmi plays a French instrument made by "Mirecourt".
